Cassie aspires to bring expressive movement to the lives of others through vinyasa yoga, slackline yoga, and other creative practices. Her classes, which are infused with mindfulness and meditation, are built to safely balance strength and softness. She sees her practice of teaching as art meant to inspire and create ease in the whole being. Cassie creates a lighthearted environment that encourages playfulness and explorative boundary-pushing for students of all levels and abilities.
Cassie is a movement and meditation instructor native to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently teaching in Portland, Oregon. She began exploring movement and mindfulness while completing her degree in music education. It was then that she became inspired by both the Alexander Technique and slacklining which led her to yoga. All three of these practices help create space for growth, curiosity, and creativity in her life.
Cassie has always been a teacher at heart. Her truest passion is sharing what she loves with others. Her pursuits and training of the past 15
years have been focused on becoming a stronger educator and instructor so that she may pass on what she learns and loves. She is a registered yoga teacher holding certification for E-RYT 200 | RYT 500.
